Took my 87 BMW to this location because it failed the pressure test at emissions. The staff was friendly and very up front about pricing, and although not cheap- still affordable. My "look into" charge went toward any repairs that were needed, so that was cool. When I dropped my car off, they offered me a free ride home since I was alone and lived close by, and they wouldn't get to my car until later in the day. I got a safe and 100% not creepy ride back to my house, which was awesome. The next day I received a call from Brad (this guy is top notch) explaining all the things that were found, and how much it would cost before repairing anything. I picked it up same day, and ran it back through emissions. It failed again. Seemed pretty sketchy to me, since the emissions guys didn't seem to know what they were doing... were rude and looked confused about an 80's import. When I called back to make another appointment with Brad, he explained that they would take a look at it right away free of charge. I dropped it back off, and on further inspection the crew found no issues, so THEY took it to emissions. Turns out, the emissions staff wasn't running the test correctly. The mechanic who drove my car there ran the test HIMSELF, AT EMISSIONS. It passed. Brad explained that it may have passed the first time around without the simple hose replacement that I ended up getting- and to boot the mechanic fought to not get charged for the second retest. Emissions didn't charge him. So- I replaced a janky hose and passed emissions for a totally reasonable price. What kinda shop drives a car to emissions and fights with the dudes to do their job properly??? THESE GUYS DO. I was floored. 10/10 will take my old BMW back here for any future repairs. Outstanding.

They provide excellent service and have extensive knowledge and experience with BMW. The only negative are the prices.

This was my first visit to Babbett Motor Werks and I am very impressed. I had to have a major repair done to the air conditioning on my 328 that required removing the entire dashboard, steering column, basically everything. I was a little nervous to say the least. I have to say their service is top notch! Dealing with Brad was the icing on the cake. He and his service techs were friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and their work was perfect! My AC works great, everything is tight and as new. They completed the repair on time as promised and their price was more than fair. I would not hesitate to bring my car back or refer any BMW owners/friends to go there as well.

Quick appointment. Called Monday was in Tuesday. Out in on hour. Guys always take good care of my X5. Recommend Babbitts to all BWM owners.
